I started this project as an inexpensive, entry level HT monitor or bedroom speaker. Not especially efficient but reasonable as a standalone monitor with modest power. Like the Peerless Pop, this monitor would be best used with sub and the bottom end rolled off. It's capable of full range reproduction, but that little 4" driver works hard. It rolls off at about 90 hz in this configuration.

I'm still tweaking this design but the crossover and box are 90% there. If you intend to use this as a true bookshelf monitor, I'd suggest cutting the woofer coil down to 1.0 mH to reduce the baffle step a bit.
