I personally thought these were the most dynamic of the lot. easy as hell to listen to. |

Jason had 6 pair on display (#1,2,3,8,9,12) All use series crossovers. I thought these were just right. Nice balance. They did everything well. The paint finishes on 9 & 12 were pretty remarkable. I wish I had that kind of patience. |

I designed these as a easy listening/jazz speaker. They seem to do well with both and even some rock but the bass is a little slow for the fast stuff. |

For the next event I'll be bringing my "Goliath" speakers that I havent finished yet. their a 5 way tower measuring in at 56"H 22"D 14"W weighing in at 260lbs each with 2-10"woofers an 8" midbass driver 5"mid 2"mid/high dome and a 1" tweeter all crossovers are 6db and I think these will blow peoples minds if not they'll at least blow the windows out of the room :) I designed these as a rock and roll speaker for a VERY LARGE ROOM and they should kick some major @$$ :) power handling on them is about 500 watts so I'm going to need a huge amp (another excuse to talk my wife into letting me buy more gear ) :) |

Liked every thing about these. Allot. |

These speakers belong to my (kinda brother in law) I only helped a little with the size of the enclosure and tuning of the crossover I let him do all the hard work :) these are also designed as a 2ch/HT speaker and have tons of bass with good low end control. were still working on the mid and tweet a little but so far we have them pretty close. The mid was still running full range for the show so we didn't get to crank them up :( the drivers selected for these were the Hi-Vi D8.8+ (yes 2 in each tower) Dynavox 6" midbass and Eton 1" tweeter. The woofer crossovers are 12db and the mid-tweet are series at about 3500hz and I think we dumped the woofers off around 80hz (roll off around 120 or so) Built like a tank these speakers weigh in at about 150lbs each. |

I designed these for my Brother as a 2ch/HT speakers so they needed to have ballance smoothness and bass. The tweeter was a little quiet due to us switching it out and not having time to make adjustments before the show but they filled the room with bass for only having 2-7" woofers in each. The rooms were 24' X 26' with 8' ceilings and were half carpet (no padding) and half tile floors. I cant wait to finish them in a dark red cherry their going to look great :) |

nice! |

These little speakers were more of a tryout with the Silver flute 5" driver and a morel mdt-20 tweet but I liked them so much I finished them in a highly figured cherry and sold them to the daycare/church owner (the place we had the event) These speakers also use a series network @3500hz and will fill amazing sized rooms with sound. for the $ these cost to build it would be hard to beat them. |

Ok I will never paint black again ! ! these bookshelves were a major pain in the butt to finish but it does look stunning and they sound very detailed with their 7" peerless exclusive woofer and Seas 27tffc tweeter. These have a series xover @2600hz and use silver plated copper wire inside. I named these the "Definite" because you will definitely like what you here and will understand the musical information very well. They perform well on about any type of music and are very fast. |

These are truly nice. At one point we disconnected them to try a different speaker and a riot nearly occured. |

I won't object if you call these nice but, I don't know how much credit I can take for the design. The schematic was drawn by Joseph Esmella who is nice enogh to share it with the world on his JElabs website. The layout is pretty similar to a number of others. I sourced much of the parts from millitary surplus and picked up sale items. The tubes cost more than the rest of the parts. Still really inexpensive unless compared at cost per watt. Thanks to Lou, I finally found a driver I have been searching for. I'm working on cabs for a 12" full range that is 98db efficient. They are Audio Nirvana's. |

These nice bottlehead monoblocks came over from El Paso. The builder designed them himself. Very sweet sounding with all the usual low wattage restrictions. Really nice workmanship. |

these things generate some sonic energy for just little shits. i thought some things sounded kinda tinny and, for some reason, the higher frequencies not real natural on some recordings. |

I thought the original demo of these was too loud and the music choices kind of funereal. After we moved them into a room with other gear, they seemed a lot more impressive. Tons of bass from a little box, very nice high end. They need a lot of clean power |

I missed these in the other room but was told that they really opened up with different amplification |

These white ones I named the "Truth" mainly because they seem to be easy to listen to and tell the story properly but again these were designed as a jazz/easy listening speaker and are a little slow for rock. The white finish was a pain in the butt yet after about 50 hours of work their good looking. these use a hi-vi 7" and hi-vi 1" tweet with a series network @ 3200hz |

after listening to these, I couldn't believe when the builder told me the $$$ he had into these. the bang for buck on many of the designs was so impressive. |

This was one stompin huge tube amp. 35+ watts per channel. Supposed to have some huge voltages rolling thru those white cap connections. I thought this was a really nice matchup with my Cyclops. |

This amp is the coolest toy I ever bought for myself. It is said to make 45 wpc and my radio shack watt meter bears that out. Plate volts on those transmitter tubes is over 1000! At home I run it with the safety cage in place. I apologize for the dust; it must be really bad if it shows in a picture. Thank you for letting me bring it and hook it up to those great speakers! |

I wish I'd had a chance to speak with the builder of this amp. It is quite nicely done. |
