On several of the forums I visit there is recurrent boil of a poster (let's just call him "Scrote"). This bastard is a 20- something self appointed expert on everything. He constantly derides and insults other members, pushes poorly written, overly verbose diatribes, and asserts that his school-learnin' makes him an expert. He's never worked a day in his life. Apparently living off some legal settlement. I'd call this guy a prick -- but a prick has a head on it.

After pissing off everybody for months, he comes around asking for help on selecting a car. Of course, he knows nothing, but tells everybody else they are totally wrong. Of course he heads right for the top of the line imports, then complains that there's not enough room (for his inflated ego no doubt) and that the lease payments would "stretch his finances".

I'd love to say "Scrote" is an anomaly, he's not. He's far too typical. Here's my guess on this guy's background. A product of "me first" 80s, when affluence and excess was at it's domestic peak. Raised with a mouse in hand, he likely developed his social skills in chat rooms and on cell phones. Probably a pampered brat who's never been asked to make a responsible decision in his life. When he let his mouth overload his ass, somebody probably beat the shit out of him - thus facilitating a lawsuit and more free money. From another forum member: "You (Scrote) have an insatiable need to overcompensate for what you lack emotionally and most likely physically, so you try to surround yourself with nice things to make yourself feel important."  Well Done!

He's certain someone will want to hire him, so why not commit financial suicide by leasing a car? When his attitude gets him fired six months down the road, and the car gets repossessed, he'll no doubt look for someone to sue. It couldn't possibly be his fault. He'll go on to buy a house he can't afford and become another whining bitch expecting the government to save him from his own stupidity. Or he'll find a way to sue somebody and take their hard earned money. The worst part - Scrote will never figure out where the problem really lies. Unlike Scrote, those of us who have never been popular, pretty, or socially acceptable, -- have learned to get along with people and show reasonable amount of respect.
